So many opinions on the metaverse. Even struggling to find an agreed definition of the metaverse. Maybe a definition where there is more digital, connected world that we now all benefit from. Amongst all the expectation would be new commercial models that entice wider spend. The challenge with spend is you have to earn it to spend it.
To earn you have to be relevant in some form to a valuable process somewhere at some time. However, in a highly digitized, high-speed world your warm-blooded skills might not necessarily be able to keep up. This implies loss of relevance and in turn loss of potential benefit.
A sustainable metaverse model would need to create technologies that encourage individual value contribution at a digital level if it wants to achieve some commercial balance.
The individual spends….the individual needs to earn.
